Description

Already own a bean-to-cup coffee machine but looking to improve the taste, quality and ethical credentials of your office coffee?

We’ve packaged up three of our favourite espresso blends, each with a distinctive taste profile, in 3 x 500g compostable bags.

Try all three blends through your own machine and let us know your favourite. We can then discuss prices and supply arrangements. Or we can create a bespoke blend for you based on your taste preferences, subject to volumes.

Each pack of coffee also comes delivered with compostable tasting cards and wooden block stands so you can show-off the provenance and taste credentials of your coffee at the machine or in your meeting rooms.

What's included

  • 3 x 500g bags of Speciality coffee – each with a distinctive taste profile based on origin of coffees in each blend, which is detailed on the tasting cards
  • Almost entirely compostable packaging
  • 3 x tasting cards for each coffee for use by your machine or in your meeting rooms.  Our cards have a compostable matt laminate finish to protect them from liquid damage
  • 3 x wooden tasting card holders

Experts advice

The correct settings on your bean-to-cup machine are essential.  However, because each machine is different it’s not possible to offer specific set-up advice here.  We’ve set-out some key principles to follow below but your own view on taste will be the best way to ensure your machine is getting the best from this high quality Speciality coffee.

  • Always use filtered water and if your machine is connected to mains water, check the filter cartridge is being changed regularly.  This will improve the taste of your coffee and extend the machine’s life
  • Always carefully follow the cleaning instructions for your machine.  This will also improve the taste of your coffee and extend the machine’s life
  • An espresso should ideally extract between 20-30 seconds.  Too short and it will taste sour.  Too long and it will taste bitter
  • Slightly longer espressos usually taste better from bean-to-cup machines as they have lower pump pressures.  Aim for 45ml – 60ml to ensure full extraction of flavour
  • The popular flat white should have a shorter measure of milk than a latte.  It’s designed to have a stronger coffee taste so check the volume of milk with your drinks

We are official distributors for many of the top bean-to-cup brands including FRANKE, Bravilor and JURA.  We are happy to offer telephone advice on set-up of your machine should you wish.
