After a fulfilling senior career in Marketing, it was time to follow my dream to build a business with some brilliant people, and to work in the coffee sector.
My deep love of coffee started whilst working within the wine industry, then the realisation that the origin stories hidden behind coffee were started by beautiful, talented hard-working people, who are often undervalued. My wife Binny and I founded Amamus to create something that makes us and our kids proud.
In 2020 we led Amamus through B Corp certification to be one of the first certified coffee companies. And then we significantly improved our company score during re-certification in 2024. Our team is united by a common purpose to create positive impact whilst bringing the stories of the coffees we roast to-life within workspaces that care.
